Bat Mitzvah

We have known Ella since the spring of 2018 when my middle daughter started recreational soccer and Ella's mom was her coach. I say all the time that we love soccer because of the friends we meet. We LOVE this family and were so happy to celebrate Ella's Bat Mitzvah this weekend.

Ella has worked for the last year to prepare for this service. Her Haftarah was long and extremely hard and in Hebrew. Yes, she spoke Hebrew! She handled it with so much confidence. Her speech brought most of the audience to tears especially when she thanked her brother for all of his support. We all know the amount of love and support he gives to Ella and how much he gave on her big day. I loved seeing Ella's family participate in many parts of the beautiful service.

Ella was celebrated with a Kiddush Luncheon following the Saturday service. Saturday night she had an Amazing party with friends and family at The Wilson Family Farm. DJ Drell made sure the girls never left the dance floor! Moe's for dinner and Retro Sno for dessert couldn't have been more perfect to celebrate. The Best Party!

I want to note that cameras were not allowed inside the Synagogue at the service on Saturday. All of my photos are from the "morning minyan" Thursday morning and during Ella's practice.

Thursday, August 3 was the morning minyan. Those in attendance offered their wishes and blessings to Ella.

The West End Synagogue Sanctuary is Beautiful. I tried to capture all of its beauty during Ella's practice for the service.
