Christmas Quilt
My Christmas Quilt made from 16 years of our girls matching Christmas Pajamas is Amazing! The memories in each little square patch. The girls and I have had so much fun wrapping ourselves in the quilt and examining each patch and embellishment. I have been holding off to have this quilt made for the last two years in hopes of finding Lyla and Ellie's Christmas PJs that they both wore for their first Christmas. I still have no idea where they are but Rebecca had the idea to print the pjs design on fabric to include a few squares on the quilt. Every time we look at that patch we will wonder who's wearing that set of pjs. When I shipped all the pjs off this fall I also wanted the girls and dogs pjs from this year included so as soon as I ordered those I shipped a pair to them to include. I guess I'm the first client to ever think to do that!
Vintage Giggles is run by Rebecca. She and her staff take the time and are careful to make sure that every little detail is included in your quilt. You can pick the embellishments or let them choose! I let them choose. I still can't get over the items they chose! The reindeer from the footy pjs, the tiny little pocket, the waist band with the silk bow, and the ruffled neck line to name a few. You can be as involved in the process as you want to be! I like to be involved.......I don't love surprises. So, I got pictures of the cut squares, the backing they chose, the layout of the patches, and I got to pick the binding fabric. It was so much fun to receive updates.
